Video installation at the Art HK 2011 art fair in Hong Kong, presenting the artworks made for the Deutsche Bank headquarters
Deutsche Bank installation /Art Hong Kong Fair
We were commissioned by Deutsche Bank Hong Kong to develop a multimedia wall for ever-changing video art and realtime data display. Working alongside EightFive2 on the architectural specification, creative development and hardware implementation, the project took place over a period of 10 months
The videowall is situated in the foyer of Deutsche Bank's Hong Kong head office. A realtime generative videoart series was created to greet visitors with an ever-changing, unique experience everyday
The huge scale of the videowall (12m x 1.5m) giving a resolution of 14,400px x 1,800 pixels, was beyond current graphic display capabilities. We developed a bespoke system of 8 x networked PCs generating realtime synchronised content
Working closely with creative coders Field, we produced 8 video artworks which run continuously, reinventing themselves forever
The videowall is a central focus of Deutsche Bank Hong Kong new headquarters, further enhancing the bank's reputation for supporting the arts (sponsors of Frieze art fair, ARTHK and the Deutsche Bank Guggenheim Berlin)

Experience videos
Videos I edited for Universal Everything which showcase their immersive artworks and installations,
In collaboration with data journalist Simon Rogers, Universal Everything created an immersive data narrative experience exploring the power of big data.
A 15’ x 8’ mirrored room and subtly choreographed pixel spheres echoed the LED animations, creating an endless digital landscape. Designed in code and running in real-time, the experience tells the story of the world around us through the medium of a simple US quarter.
Tied into a major Microsoft product launch, the Infinity Room was installed at 3 Embarcadero Center in the heart of San Francisco's Financial District over three days. Members of the public and conference VIPs were invited to experience a powerful visualisation of the insights that can be gained through Microsoft’s new data analysis tools.
